Not-Chi-Mi-Ne or No Heart
Not-Chi-Mi-Ne or No Heart; Possibly an early McKinney Hall print this highly colored print shows an Inway Chief in a native costume wearing a pendant with a western figure and a very colored headdress. The image is signed AH on the shoulder of the sitter. Trade beads are around his neck and the blouse/shirt worn has a large ruffle in European or Early American styling. The print is approximately 150 years of age and is in good condition. No Heart is recorded as being a very fierce warrior and he was known to be ruthless hence his name.
