French Picture Frame Style Eight Day
These French style picture frame clocks were popular in both England and France in the late 19th and early 20th century. The clock has a face lid that is hinged to tilt upward to wind the enameled face. The decoration to the hinged door is primarily in mother-of-pearl inlays. The clocks strike as well as keep time and the key appears to be the original. This is a very decorative clock.
