19th Century French Fashion Print
Fashion prints were always among the most favorite of collectors. Victorian ladies always were keeping current with these monthly images of what was hot in fashion and accessories. This watercolored print shows a green seated lady in a Victorian chair holding a book with another in a white dress trimmed in blue braid and a blue bow at her throat and a lace cap or hat. No doubt dating from the 1860s or early 1870s, this is in a walnut Victorian crossbar frame. There is one missing leaf corner, otherwise, the image is in excellent condition and ready to hang on the collectors wall.
