1930s Print of a Wood Chuck?

  • slide
I am not sure what this animal is but I am guessing a wood chuck. The claws are really long and the fingers almost look like hands with long black nails. The animal is standing upright and holding a long flower with stem in its hands and eating a bite off the center. The print is framed in its original frame and appears to be from the 1930s. The wooded setting that this animal is depicted in makes one think of either a wood chuck or some other digging animal.
